Nintendo confirmed during today’s Nintendo Direct that New Super Luigi U, the DLC for New Super Mario Bros. U, will be available worldwide this summer.
In addition to its release windows, we also heard of some new features to grace this greener New release.
First is that all of the 82 re-created stages will have a 100 second time limit, giving the entire game a different, more boost rush vibe and from what we have seen from footage so far It is looking like this DLC will be more difficult that the original game.
Finally Nintendo clarified as you might have guessed that Luigi will handle differently to Mario, similar to Luigi’s appearance in Mario Bros 2 (USA), Luigi will jump higher, flutter kick and will be more slippery than his shorter brother.
