Here’s something any true blue Mario fan should see: Limit Break’s “Family Line” of mario games. This huge image details the “lineage” of Mario games, and it’s shocking how many there are! From starring roles to his many small NES cameos, almost every major Mario appearance is represented – although Smash Bros seems strangely absent. The list seems to follow release date over series in some aspects, as Wario Land is not “descendant” of Mario Land 2, nor is Paper Mario descendant of Super Mario RPG, but it’s still an amazing image.
