Mario doesn’t talk much, but when he does, it is instantly recognizable, at least for some. Unfortunately, when you are the voice of Mario, your face (and real voice) is not as well known to the World.
While waiting to board a flight in Melbourne, Charles Martinet was one of many evacuated from the airport when a mysterious package was found. The suspect package was nothing more than a false alarm, however Australia’s Channel Seven News took the opportunity to interview some of the bystanders for their reactions. Unbeknownst to the reporter, Mario voice actor Charles Martinet was one of the interviewees. See below for the news clip, Mr. Martinet can be found at the 0:12 mark. The best part is that the reporter had no idea a celebrity was in the midst.
