In Japan, keychains are called keyholders and they’re way cooler than any cheap American plastic square with something sassy written on it. My friend Nico recently got me this amazing Mario “keyholder” that Banpresto sells in Japan. The company apparently put out a series of Famicom-themed Keyholders featuring Mario, Ice Climbers, and even that guy that looks like Mario from Balloon Fight. I checked the Banpresto Japnese merchandise site and I think these specific keyholders are old news, but they definitely still sell them at Kid Robot.
