Infendo Radio Episode 321: Gliding Into Action

IR Banner 321

Welcome to another episode of Infendo Radio. In episode 321, Harrison Milfeld, Lewis Pugh, Colin Crompton and I talk about recent Nintendo news, including the return of veteran fighter Meta Knight to the Smash Bros. roster, the special promotions in Europe attached to the games, the tragic passing of Robin Williams, and the upcoming Pokemon card game app headed to iPads. In our feature, we answer listener questions on StreetPass and the state of Nintendo’s online environment. Anthony DeVirgilis, who sent us a great question to discuss, has a gaming podcast of his own over on that is just starting out and is well worth checking out.

As always, send your questions and comments in an e-mail to or leave them in a comment below this post. Thanks for your support and enjoy the show!

In addition to being a girl gamer, Holly prides herself on being a red-head. Consequently, the blue shell in the Mario Kart series is her natural enemy. Don't worry, though: she still loves Mario Kart and is very good, despite the occasional blue shell-sabotaged race. Like any Nintendo fan, Holly also loves Zelda, Pokemon, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, name it. But she'll try just about anything (besides horror games) and has a soft spot for unique, little-known rhythm games like Rhythm Heaven and Samba de Amigo. NNID: Aeroweth

  1. Cheers for adding out my street pass question.

As for Metaknight appearing in Smash: I am definitely happy to see him there. When I first started playing Smash, on the Wii, he was the only character I could get a win with for ages because I was playing people who were pretty experienced. Sometimes you need to get a win or two under your belt to keep you motivated.

I guess you could call that overpowered, but I think of. It more as an entry-level character. Personally I think. Fox McCloud in that insane tank is the most overpowered character of them all anyways.

  2. Holly, what’s the ending song of this podcast? I really like it!

  3. It’s from the Hook soundtrack. Flight to Neverland, I believe. My way of paying tribute to Robin Williams.

  4. I’ve seen this movie a lot when I was little, but that song somehow got lost in the depths of my memories. I suppose that’s why I instantly liked it when I heard it, though I couldn’t place it and it was like the first time hearing it.

Awesome. I initially though it might’ve been from a game I didn’t know about 🙂
