The first step in determining if non-gamers, mom, dad, family, and friends are digging the Wii is if you catch them powering on the console by themselves without gamers initiating the session. Saying something is fun and enjoying it for a while is one thing. Talk is cheap. Actually turning a product “on” (and/or buying it) for personally use is the true indicator. I realize this is extremely obvious, but it is then, and only then, that Nintendo’s Wii aspirations will begin to be fulfilled. Power up.
