When the Wii Remote was first revealed, we were shown an example of a gnarly dude drumming with two controllers. As lame as the dude was, it got me excited. E3 had a couple guys jamming out with Wii’motes, but civilians weren’t allowed to give it a chance. Since then, the idea of playing a game using two Remotes has quietly slipped away. Just when I thought all hope was lost, the official Wii site has been updated with more of the new Japanese TV commercials. One of them assuaged my fear, featuring a whole percussion section using two Nunchuk-less Wii Remotes.
Anyone else think we’ll get to do some two-fisted Wii’mote jamming?
