Joel McHale, star of NBC’s Community (thankfully of which wasn’t cancelled by the network), was kind enough to star in a new comedic sketch video to pimp out the Nintendo 3DS. In the video, McHale first demands for a baby panda (who wouldn’t?) for his work promoting Nintendo’s handheld. What follows is McHale kicking interns in the groin, him stating the blatant obvious features of the 3DS, and discussing the importance of a good viral video (“We upload that to YouTube it’s gonna get 40 million hits by nightfall!”).

Each of these promotion videos that Nintendo has been realeasing have been hit-or-miss for me, but it’s a nice change of pace to have someone like McHale throw his comedic value for the Nintendo 3DS. He has the right chemistry to market a product without sounding desperate or corny. Also, he also proves a decent point near the end of video: Hot women can sell anything.

Quick! Someone get a hold of Reggie and tell them that we have Nintendo’s new marketing man.

Harrison Milfeld is a writer, editor, and freelance journalist from Missouri. Ever since he could walk, Harrison has been an avid fan of the world of Nintendo. For years, he has purchased every one of the company's subsequent products (yes, including the Virtual Boy and eReader). It wasn't until he was a young teen when he bought a PS2 that he began to embrace cross-console relations, a decision he doesn't regret. When he's not gaming, Harrison is looking to break into the magazine journalism industry and realize his dream of becoming a features reporter.
