Information is Beautiful graphed the search intensity of “violent video games” earlier this month using Google Insights. The result is interesting, showing that violent video games aren’t as controversial as they used to be, at least according to internet searches. But its the spikes that are even more fascinating. Like clockwork, the April 20th Columbine anniversary and November political elections spike interest in the tired discussion. Every year.
