  1. The SD reader thing is old. If I remember correctly, it wasn’t compatible with games that weren’t specially designed for it. It never made it over here.

  2. Yeah it(SD card reader) was one of the things announce before the Gamecube came out.

    And it is where Nintendo is going next with the Revolution’s Flash memory and the SD expandable (memory) port.

    Put a 4GB($100 by late 2006-early 2007) card in the Revolution and you’ll be set for game saves and Virtual games for a pretty long while.

    And then the ability to take that SD card and put it in the DS GBA slot….

    Yup fun times…

  3. I’ve actually seen one of these rare items in my local import shop here in old Blighty. It’s been sitting there for a long long while. Along with a fairly rare humungous gamecube controller with integrated keyboard for Phantasy Star Online. I might take a photo next time I’m there

  4. If that “Humongous” Gamecube pad works with the Rev, then it would be a bargain to pick one up now. I’m sure there would be a need for that in the future, just look at what Opera and Ninty have done with the DS recently…. 🙂
