The gang at GoNintendo has stumbled upon the tentative release date of the one game that, in my humble opinion, would have best shown off the Wii controller at launch: WarioWare: Smooth Moves. According to the game’s description on the official Wii site, the madness will arrive on January 15. Another interesting tidbit: the site says the game is “1 player, some 2-5 players.” Five, huh?
Don’t get me wrong – the Wii game I was the most bummed about for not making launch was Super Mario Galaxy. But I can’t deny I felt a great sadness when I found out my post-launch Wii party wouldn’t involve me and a group of friends destroying my living room through wildly swinging the Wiimote while giggling like 3-year-olds (a side effect of playing WarioWare, often the onset of insanity).
