In addition to scooping Red Steel screen shots for the Revolution console, the new Game Informer also contains an interview with Nintendo Vice President, George Harrison. Revolution Report writes: “According to Harrison, Nintendo is planning approximately 20 titles total for Revolution’s launch. He also noted that about a third of them would come from Nintendo.”
That’s right, 20 launch titles with at least 7 coming from the Big N. The Nintendo VP also said that the company learned from the 6-month game drought early on in GameCube’s life cycle, not to mention a slim line of games during 2005.
Either way, Nintendo is owning up to past weaknesses, and that will only make them a better company. A better Nintendo makes for better games.
