Mike Tyson-less Punch-Out! is coming soon to the VC.
The game’s recently been classified by the Office of Film & Literature Classification, and this comes following a recent finding of a US trademark renewal, which led many to believe that the boxing series would be revived as a new, original Wii title. Of course, that still could happen.
Originally, this game debuted as Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!, and starred the heavyweight boxer. But once he lost his title and contract with Nintendo, the fictional character Mr Dream replaced his mug when the game was later re-released as a part of Nintendo’s Classic Series in 1990.
Wii version or Mr. Dream from Dreamland version? I’ll take both, please.
