Nintendo has announced in Japan 2 new accessories to help power up your play sessions.

For the iconic Wii Remote, Nintendo has finally announced an official charging solution. The design is very basic, includes a new back cover with built-in battery, a charging cradle and AC adapter. However this solution is only for a single Wii Remote, if your looking for a solution to charge 4 remotes at once, you would need to by 4 of these  and have each plugged up to a separate power outlet, less than ideal.

The Wii U GamePad is not left out however, the new extended battery is a much simpler proposition. The GamePad with its standard battery currently gives you between 3 – 5 hours, depending on brightness, rumble and power saving mode. The new extended battery clocks in at 2550 mAh giving you between 5 – 8 hours of gameplay on a single charge.

Will you be waiting eagerly on either of these official battery accessories?
