Nintentunes: the best music of yesteryear

Lazy Sunday can bring upon many things. Totino’s products usually make an appearance on my Sunday’s, along with far too much just plain lazy. This Sunday I thought it would be fun to do something different. Let’s have a music party, I’ll be your DJ.

Back when Disney and Capcom were best friends during the 90’s, gamers were treated to lots of great titles from Capcom’s finest. One of the standouts amongst them was Duck Tales. Duck Tales is a game that has a certain cult classic appeal to it, one of the reasons being the super awesome soundtrack the game contained. The moon level happens to have one of the best tracks of the entire game and in my opinion, it is one of the better tracks the NES library has to offer. Enjoy.

This SNES title is the best game that you have never played. Illusion of Gaia is neck and neck with Ocarina of Time as my favorite game of all time. This Enix made title (before the whole Square thing) had it all. Great characters, great looking visuals, and a wonderful soundtrack to boot. Enjoy the town theme, and if you’re really feeling dangerous, go track down a copy of the game for yourself and experience the game first hand.

We may have just received a pretty excellent re-imagining of Goldeneye late last year, but there is nothing quite like the original game, and the music has a lot to do with it. Well that, and the fact that no one in the galaxy can beat me in the complex with proximity mines, no one. One of my favorite tunes from the N64 title was the theme from the cradle level. For England James? No, for me.

What are you’re favorite video game tunes Infendo faithful?
