When you think of Comic-Con, you probably think of Marvel, DC, Image, some of the smaller indie presses, lots of cosplay, and maybe superhero movie stars. However, you don’t usually think of your favorite video game heroes, but Nintendo does. This year at Comic-Con the attendees from Southern California, and the Con itself, will be able to experience some of the upcoming Nintendo releases. Not only can the attendees demo the games, but they will also have a chance to walk away with copies of the Wonderful 101, and partake in a unique experience for the Year of Luigi (While supplies last). Nintendo will have a booth at the main event at Comic-Con, where the main focus will be Pikmin 3. Those that do not have tickets to the Con can visit the second booth located at the adjacent San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina hotel.
“Comic-Con gives us a chance to interact with thousands of current and future Nintendo fans,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “We have fun games and activities for everyone, and Comic-Con will be the first time for many people to see how these games play in person.” (As posted in My NintendoNews.com)
The Nintendo booth (No. 235) is located at the San Diego Convention Center at 111 W. Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA, 92101 and the Nintendo Gaming Lounge is located on the first floor of the Marriott Marquis & Marina hotel at 333 W. Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA, 92101.
