Nintendo Doesn’t Speak Korean

Nintendo missing opportunity in Korea, Korea at nightKotaku explores the misadventures of Nintendo in fast-growing South Korea. From the article: “While Sony has been swift in its Korean campaign, Nintendo continues to fuddle around. The company doesn’t have a concrete idea how to operate the Korean branch… And millions and millions of Korean gamers go back to their computer screens, wondering what the big deal is with that DS thing.”

Seems like Nintendo is blowing a good opportunity. It also makes me wonder if the long-time feud between Japan and Korea has anything to do with it. Any international readers feel neglected by Nintendo in your homeland?
