Sick of heading to your local big box store on Sunday mornings? Reggie Fils-Aime said that Nintendo will be partnering with GameStop to make rain checks available on December 20th and 21st. Systems must then be picked up by January 29th.
As long as GameStop doesn’t force you into a bundle, this sounds like a pretty good idea. Too bad they didn’t implement it back in late October or early November. Game geeks young and old probably won’t be overly thrilled to find an IOU slip under the tree on Christmas morning.
