Another Nintendo Direct has come and gone.  It has been a while since we last had the opportunity to see what is new in the world of Nintendo, so take a look at the details below and let us know if you are excited, or was this Nintendo Direct just fanservice?

Before we get into the details, let’s see what some of the chatterers are saying in the sidebar:

BiggerThanVinny Just give me some localisations and I’ll be happy

Austin Thom They should start bringing in GBA games for people who are not 3DS Ambassodors.

Donnaclus Alright, it’s starting. Keep the expectations low. #nintendodirect

Pariah164 I want more Iwata with bananas.

With about 6 minutes until it starts, the comments are rapidly appearing, almost too fast to read.  so, I will just sip some coffee while I wait.

This Nintendo direct is broadcast Simultaneously worldwide, so there must be something big included.  He starts out with Mario and Luigi Dream Team, and surprise…Peach is kidnapped.  Mario…pictured on the left above seems a bit frustrated that this portion is about Luigi.  They announce that the game will be available on August 11th.

Now, new info about Mario Golf, World Tour.  If you connect your 3DS to the internet, you can play against other players across the globe.  Your score can also be uploaded to play in competitions against others.  You can also play within communities (does this hint against Mii Verse on 3DS?)  This game will arrive this summer.
