Zelda: Twilight Princess to have harder bosses and the return of Ganon, this coming from leaked image scans of Nintendo Power’s Volume 201 interview with Yoshiyuki Oyama.
From the issue: “…no discussion of TP’s enemies can end without mentioning Ganon. I know that everyone’s wondering what’s going on with Link’s old nemesis. All I can say now is, we’re preparing more than you could possibly ever, ever, ever expect… And how will my monsters ensure that Twilight Princess is the greatest Zelda game ever? Wait and see. You won’t be disappointed.”
Legend Of Zelda: The Twilight Princess is slated for a release sometime this year, but hopefully this spring.

A bunch of news sites are running with this as evidence that Zelda will have harder bosses/enemies.
Can someone please explain to me how this is the case?
All he says is that there will be more than we can expect (for Ganon) and that we won’t be disappointed. That could (and most likely does) mean that they’ve just designed some really cool monsters and bosses. I believe it–that guy has proven his talent already. But I doubt they’re ramping up the difficulty on the game itself. Maybe Miyamoto’s “hardcore” comment has more to do with that.

hopefully you can just adjust the difficulty settings… then it wont matter if its hard on normal… so long as its legitimately challenging on difficult mode…

Hey CVH, here’s the rest of the quoted paragraph from NP:
“Additionally, Oyama states he feels enemies have been too easy in the past, and that they will be more challenging in Twilight Princess. He also assures us the bosses will be far more challenging than what we’ve seen before in Zelda games.”
That’s how.
