The brothers Mario seem to be getting beneath Bowser’s skin.
Today at E3, Nintendo announced Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story will release in North America and Europe sometime this fall.
It released in Japan in February.
Explaining the game’s ingenious subtitle, Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story takes place in the Koopa king’s digestive system after he swallows the heroes. They must work with Bowser to find a way out.
Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story was revealed at Nintendo’s post-E3 press conference in Oct. 2008. It features similar gameplay to its predecessors, and it implements voice and touch-based commands.
Japanese magazine Famitsu gave the game a 35/40 review score, writing it “serves as an example of how games should be made.”
