Dropping the Mario name from the franchise, January 25th will see a new release of “Picross DS” in Japan. A no-brainer for the franchise, the game will use the stylus to do everything from play the game (which is similar to a crossword puzzle with a picture), to drawing and creating custom picross puzzles. The game uses the Wifi connection for versus play with up to five participants and will retail for only Â¥3800, which is Â¥1000 less than the typical first-party action game release.
