A recent Japanese poll indicates the country is more excited about Wii than PS3. Next-Gen writes: “Famitsu readers in Japan have delivered their verdict on PlayStation 3 and Wii’s launch plans with 73% saying they believe Wii will ‘win’ the hardware war… 88.4% of readers believe PlayStation 3 is too expensive.”
Keep in mind that this is a country that likes the PlayStation brand just as much as the rest of the world. It is, however, just a poll. We’ll have to wait till we see more games from all parties involved before getting a good gauge on who will lead in home console market share.
