My time with Mario Kart 3DS was short but sweet at the Nintendo booth. The game plays exactly how you would expect a Mario Kart title to play, so gamers will be able to jump right in and begin karting without a hiccup.
When your kart hits a jump, it will sprout a hang glider out the back which gives you the ability to glide the kart to the ground. This adds an entirely new element to a familiar franchise which is welcome indeed.
At the Miyamoto round-table it was revealed that Mario Kart 3Ds will be developed by Retro Studios, which gives Nintendo fans another reason to be excited about the game (as if they needed one).
Infendo will have more hands on impressions of Mario Kart later this week!
