MCV went out of their way to clear up the cloud of smoke around whether the (codenamed) Revolution will release in a global fashion or not. A Nintendo spokesperson told them: “The comments [Iwata made] have been taken out of context. What he’s actually saying is that we’re not holding a worldwide launch just because everyone else is doing one too. It’s just another re-iteration of the fact that we’re not looking at what Sony or Microsoft are doing. Unfortunately, it seems everyone’s jumped on it and got the wrong idea.”
