Who says the United States gets all the great gaming events? Nintendo Canada is holding the ‘Get Connected’ Tour in Toronto and Ottawa this month. The Toronto event is going on as we speak until August 13, and can be found in the Nintendo Lounge at Wakestock. The Ottawa event will take place from August 17 to 27, and can be found at the Ottawa SuperEX. The ‘Get Connected’ Tour promises to house multiplayer gaming via “LAN tournaments or [the] Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.” The titles at the event include Metroid Prime Hunters, Mario Kart DS, Tetris DS, and the New Super Mario Bros. all being played on the Nintendo DS Lite. The “Get Connected’ Tour has already seen its way to the cities of Whistler and Calgary.
