Straying a bit from today’s Wii mania, I wanted to do a quick report on this “Super Mario Mysterious KoroKoro Party 2” gambling machine. Just like many of Japan’s other “medal (gambling) games,” this one features a bunch of whirling Mario character models, egging you on to throw more money in to try and win it back ten fold. I’m still not sure what Japan’s gambling laws entail, but I will investigate further on weather or not children are actually supposed to play this game. Either way even though it has Mario characters on/in it, the game was still manufactured and distributed by Capcom.
Also sweeping Japan is the Mario Kart Arcade GP machine, which will be thuroughly reviewed as soon as I take some good pictures of it.
