What is going on, fam! It is your boy, Colt! I am so sorry there wasn’t a choice last week but I was very ill and needed the weekend to recoup. Regardless, I am back and better than ever, and I have just the game for this week. Without further ado, let’s attack (or spare?)!
This week has seen four great RPGs: Dragon Quest I-III and XI. Well, I’m here to tell you about a very short and cheap RPG called Undertale! I finished Final Fantasy IX and wanted another RPG to play, but something quite a bit shorter. This is where I was pointed toward this lovely game, which only takes 10-and-a-half hours to complete the main story, plus extra in-game content. Furthermore, there are different routes you can take in order to see different endings through multiple playthroughs. This game was released 9 years ago and is still captivating people (like me) to this day. In a world where Humans and Monsters are segregated from each other, you play as a kid who accidentally landed in the monster area and you must find your way out. This game is a true RPG to its core and truly a great experience.
This game is $15 on the Switch, and for 10 hours in a very interesting RPG, I think it’s a slam dunk! You will enjoy closing this game out, plus seeing the sequel come out at some point to continue your enjoyment (the first three hours are free on the eShop).
So what did you think, friends? Are you going to pick it up? Do you already own it? What ending(s) did you get? Let me know in the comments section, and feel free to tell me your favorite games that you think I should feature. Until then…. GAME ON!
