Mario Bros. 3 Differences

Who knew that Nintendo tweaked the Japanese and US versions of Super Mario Bros. 3 so differently? TMK writes: “It is interesting to note that neither the Japanese nor American versions of SMB3 in Super Mario All-Stars are based on their respective NES versions… both games contain an amalgamation of the Japanese and English versions, with the level changes remaining from English versio...

Brain Age Climbs US Sales Charts

High pre-orders reflect high sales. Looks like Brain Age on the DS is doing well. PunchJump writes: “Nintendo’s Brain Age is climbing higher on the sales charts. The mental exercise game has reached the #2 position on Amazon’s Computer and Video Games top sellers chart, behind a new Final Fantasy XI expansion pack for PC.”

Nintendo’s E3 Booth

No, we don’t own the booth, but we are going to be all up in that mug for this year’s E3. Click on the image for the full layout.

The Power Glove

“I love the Power Glove… It’s so bad.” I really can’t believe that movie (The Wizard) was made in 1989. Seems older.

Revolution Metroid Playable at E3?

No one knows for sure, but self-proclaimed Nintendo insider Matt from IGN is saying so. Game|Life writes: “For many reasons, Metroid Prime 3 is considered the flagship title for Nintendo Revolution — at least in the West, where the first-person shooter is king. And Nintendo knows it — according to the intrepid editor of IGN’s Revolution channel, the game will be “full...

Hey Infendo readers! I’m sure some of you have probably noticed my extended absence in recent weeks, but due to some other things in my life, gaming has had to take a back seat. However, my good friends at Nintendo have sent me an advance copy of Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day. Here are some quick thoughts on the title for those who have their doubts. Enjoy! Homebrewin’

A couple of nice apps on the handhelds that play for Nintendo’s team. From Spain comes Lupi with a DS Zelda homebrew codenamed Zelda Platformer. While he’s coding the enemy engine at the moment, so far Lupi’s achieved a level system, collision system, life system with hearts, Link sound effects, title screen, most sword attacks, bombs, arrows, and an 8-direction boomerang. When h...

Nintendo Takes the Road Less Traveled

Become no. 1 in so much more than just the home console scene. That seems to be Nintendo’s new strategy. Red Herring writes: “It’s exactly what you’d expect the underdog to say. While Microsoft and Sony have amassed more weaponry than Congolese warlords in the coming battle over who will lead the next generation of video game consoles, third-place Nintendo says it is conten...

Mario Party Pez Gacha Gacha

A while back we linked to a story from Kotaku about the Mario Party mini pez with no link to buy them, but last week I found a Gacha Gacha machine in Shibuya where you can get one of the dispensers at random for only Â¥200 (just under two dollars). There are actually a lot more Gacha Gacha with Mario Pez in them than I thought there would be so perhaps if there’s interest I’ll pick up ...
