Fallout Shelter on Switch Now
The shelter simulator mobile title, Fallout Shelter, was made available for Switch owners tonight after the show. Downloadable for free, the game does feature micro-transations to speed up and otherwise enhance gameplay.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends
A new version of this card game based on the Elder Scrolls series is coming to Switch later this year, touting enhanced visuals.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades
An all new RPG mobile game based on the world of The Elder Scrolls has been revealed, and will be coming to Switch aloungside numerous other platforms. The Switch version will allegedly feature optimization for multiple ways to play, including pro controller and joycon optimization, and claims to display console level graphics, even on mobile.
What About The Big Releases?
Bethesda revealed a TON of new info tonight. Fallout 76, which is Fallout’s take on an MMO will be releasing November 14th, 2018. In the future, they’re working on an entirely new, space-themed series, as well as the much anticipated Elder Scrolls 6. Wolfenstein is getting a new game, Wolfenstein Youngbloods, and the Doom reboot will be getting a sequel as well, Doom Eternal.
However, none of these games were announced for Switch. These games’ platforms seem to have been left openly ambiguous at this time, so there’s no word yet on whether or not we should rule these titles out.
Rage 2 and Quake: Champions, however, have been announced, and there was no mention of a Switch release. Prey was also given some extensive DLC content, but there was no mention of a Switch port for that title either.
