A real HD version of Mario Kart

Or is it…?

No… it isn’t.

An artist from New York. Will has been writing, designing, and loving video games since he was young. He has traveled across the United States, and parts of Canada in order to learn more about the world of gaming. After visiting E3 for the first time in 2009, he has vowed to return there and show off a game of his own. In his spare time he tinkers with electronics, programming, and of course collecting video games.

  1. thats siiiick. if only. aha =)

  2. is that a real game?if so could you tell me which one.

  3. never mind i just saw the logo

  4. I want to be Iron Man! 🙂

  5. Ha. I knew that wouldn’t take long.
I have no problem with this, but I just want to bring it to everyone’s attention. Isn’t it funny how sony, devoid of any solid mascots, has all of these great games now where you can completely roll your own characters, tracks, levels, etc.
I’m talking about Modnation Racers, obviously, and also to an extent 3D Dot Game Heroes and Little Big Planet.
Again, its not a knock, just an interesting side effect of games with this level of customization. Very cool.
I guess in about a week there’ll be a video of the first recreated Mario Kart track.

  6. Nevermind, already exists:

  7. Blur is also a real HD version of Mario Kart.

Maybe a new genre is afoot! Just like Doom-clones existed in the early 90’s, Mario Kart-clones will be around for a while, eh?

  8. LBP went to great lengths to avoid copyright infringement, I have no idea how long Mod Nation Racers is going to be able to keep this stuff.

  9. Mario kart wii looks better this is just high def rubbish the art is crap and it doesnt look like Mario to me its weird plus the game is just alright

  10. wow thats cool but impossible lol

  11. fake you could see mod nation racing
