Best 3DS deals in town

Although not everyone is planning on getting a 3DS this week, that doesn’t mean that retailers everywhere aren’t trying as hard as they can to make you open your wallets. No matter if you plan on buying online or at one of those old fashion brick and mortar locations, there is a 3DS deal for you. Here are some of the better deals to help you save a rupee or two.

Gamestop

Not much from Gamestop unless you’re planning on trading in an old system. Gamestop is willing to knock off $100, $75, and $50 for trading in your DSi XL, DSi, and DS lite respectively.

Toys R Us

Toys R Us has a pretty rockin’ deal on 3DS games. The retailer is offering a buy one, get the second 50% off on all 3DS games until April 2nd. If you’re planning on buying more than one 3DS game at launch, Toys R Us is definitely the place to be.

If you are planning on trading in your old DS you can do that at Toys R Us as well. They are offering up to $75 credit towards a 3DS depending upon the system’s condition.

Kmart

Kmart will kindly give you $25 off of a 3DS game with the purchase of a console. Yeah, that’s about all though.

Amazon

Amazon is really bringing it with the 3DS deals. Pre-ordering  a console will automatically net you a $25 credit towards a 3DS game of choice. Buy two games and Amazon will throw in another $10 off into the mix. When all is said and done, you could save $35 on a game, almost making it free.

Amazon also takes trade ins, and is offering the same tiered DS trade in offer ($100, $75, $50) that Gamestop is running.

For all of you planning on buying a 3DS and perhaps a game or two, where are planning on making your purchases?
