Game Spy on Twilight Princess — perfection

Another review to pile onto Matt’s 1UP post on Twilight Princess: Game Spy gives TP 5 out of 5. If you’re worried about spoilers like I am, don’t worry with this one: “There will be no spoilers written here, but if you truly only need to know whether the game rocks hard, just take a look at the score and be safe in the knowledge that it does.” And, more on the ever-im...

Maddox endorses Wii as only Maddox can

All I’m going to say with this post is that Maddox, one of the most, um, outspoken and well-known Internet celebrities has endorsed the Wii, calling it Sony’s “younger, hotter sister.” That’s significant because this guy gets millions of hits, has his own book, and people — believe it or not — listen to his rants. The rest of the “endorsement” ...

According to the article, “For all the proclamations of doom, for all t...

What do you think of the news?

NPR report on Sony vs. Nintendo

Though they get launch prices wrong, NPR has a nice little audio report on the upcoming PS3 vs. Wii launch suggesting Sony as the underdog and what the launches mean for next-generation gaming. From the synopsis: “The PlayStation 3 and the Wii represent different strategies for achieving big holiday sales. The stakes are especially high for Sony, whose PlayStation Portable was trounced by th...

Wii setup: Top or bottom?

In line with Blake’s post about the way you situate your Wii, I ask where you’re putting your sensor bar? The settings menu shows you can place it above, or below your TV. Simple. To hide it below, or feature it above? You decide.
