Kotaku’s Brian Ashcraft recently posted about an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto where he stated that the company is still debating about how many buttons to put on the controller, as well as Nintendo’s goal to target people that haven’t yet planned on buying a next-generation console. From the article:
“…So far, so good, as a the Wii got 70 percent in a Famitsu poll for next-gen console of choice. Upon hearing this, Miyamoto asked, “Was there a selection for ‘I don’t want any of them’? I’d like to know this, because we’re fighting this ‘I don’t want any of them’ selection.””
Honestly I think the people that they’re targeting are probably not frequent readers of Famitsu in general.
