Masahiro Sakurai, director of the upcoming 4th installments in the Super Smash Bros. franchise, has revealed a new stage for the 3DS version on Miiverse: Tortimer Island. For those of you who have played Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you’ll recognize the locale as the island resort where Tortimer (the old mayor from previous AC games) spends his retirement conducting tours and soaking up the sun. Sakurai himself has visited the tropical getaway “countless times to catch bugs.”
