Nintendo Exec Announces Retirement

Longtime VP of Sales for NOA, Randy Peretzman has officially stepped down today. He has helped launch every Nintendo game system and major game title for the past 20 years including the NES all the way up to Nintendogs.

“From the launch of the original NES to our latest software phenomenon, Nintendogs, Randy has made significant contributions to the success of every new hardware and software launch,” said Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo of America’s president. “He will be greatly missed, and we wish him well.”

Kevan Wilson, an 11-year veteran will take his place.

  1. Well…he definatly deserves more free time 😉
    I don’t know much about the top Execs at NOA (or NOE or NOJ for that matter), but I think it’s never bad to change the people at charge after some time…
