Infendo Radio Episode 323: And a Partridge in a Pear Tree

IR Banner 323

Welcome to episode 323 of Infendo Radio, with Lewis Pugh, Harrison Milfeld, and Colin Crompton. In this episode, Nintendo news is discussed, including the new Mario Kart 8 DLC and a Super Smash Bros. character reveal, while the leaked Super Smash Bros. roster is the focus of the feature. If you’ve been lucky enough to avoid the character leaks and would like to keep it that way, you may want to quit listening after the Nintendo news segment!

As always, send us your questions and comments in an e-mail to, or leave them in a comment below this post if you’re in your browser. Next episode, we’ll be finishing up our top 5 RPG/strategy games on the 3DS list, so here’s a special request: if you’ve played Shin Megami Tensei IV or any other obscure, but great, strategy game on the 3DS, let us know why it needs to be in our top 5!

Enjoy the show!

In addition to being a girl gamer, Holly prides herself on being a red-head. Consequently, the blue shell in the Mario Kart series is her natural enemy. Don't worry, though: she still loves Mario Kart and is very good, despite the occasional blue shell-sabotaged race. Like any Nintendo fan, Holly also loves Zelda, Pokemon, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, name it. But she'll try just about anything (besides horror games) and has a soft spot for unique, little-known rhythm games like Rhythm Heaven and Samba de Amigo. NNID: Aeroweth

  1. I cannot believe that in a week with a new hardware announcement (which includes two “exclusive” games) that you guys spent more time with/felt that the Smash Bros roster leak was bigger news/a bigger deal. At E3 I finally was able to drum up some excitement for the title, but I am so beyond tired of hearing about characters. I am just glad that the title is launching in Japan within two weeks, so within a week of that all the news about it will be out.

So, what other games are people hoping come over from Wii to 3DS? There were some great WiiWare titles (FFCC:MLaaK and FFCC:MLaaDL stand out). Interested to hear what others are looking forward to.

  2. I can’t help. Wish I could.

I’ve only played Paper Mario Sticker Star (which was a good game, it amused me thoroughly for a whole time), Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (which I didn’t finish, because I finished the game on the Wii), Fire Emblem and Pokemon Y.

Being a gamer that isn’t particularly attracted to RPG’s, the more ‘obscure’ games are looked over.
I think the majority of us only played the most popular games.
