The Sundance Film Festival is the latest venue for Nintendo to showcase its hard and software to the public. This venture furthers the notion that Sundance has strayed from its once indie roots and become a corporate marketing event in the modern day film industry. In between films, attendees can go over to the Nintendo lounge and play some DS, GBA, and GameCube goodness, including Mario Kart DS over wifi. Sundance takes place from January 19 – 29.
Movies and Nintendo? I call that a weeknight.
Since I live 30 minutes from Park City and just picked up a DS, going do Sundance seems like it would be perfect for me…and yet…I’ll pass. Unless of course Jennifer Aniston were there with a copy of Mario Kart.
