Straying a bit from today’s Wii mania, I wanted to do a quick report on this “Super Mario Mysterious KoroKoro Party 2” gambling machine. Just like many of Japan’s other “medal (gambling) games,” this one features a bunch of whirling Mario character models, egging you on to throw more money in to try and win it back ten fold. I’m still not sure what Japan...
I was fortunate enough to score a Nintendo media briefing ticket less than 10 hours before the 8:30am PST start tomorrow. The only thing that would make this sweeter is a bar of Wonka’s famous chocolate. We’ll see you guys tomorrow.

Sony just announced a new game controller that looks the same but uses no external sensors for motion control. I don’t believe it works in true 3-day space though. Sony follows Nintendo.
