Overclock your DS

Perusing Kotaku‘s DS tag I found this link and video of a Japanese guy who has somehow moded his DS lite to have a switch in the side that overclocks the processor(s) to almost 2 times the DS’s original speed. While this process has no practical application as of yet, the instructions are cool and the video is kind of silly.

Drill Dozer Selling Under $10

Word on the street is that a few of the big chain stores are selling Drill Dozer for a discounted price. Target has if for $15, Bestbuy for $10, and Circuit City for $9. Great GBA game and worth the full price, so swoop this one up if you haven’t already. How much did you like Drill Dozer?

Nintendo to fix cracked DS Lite hinges?

Kotaku reports: “So to summarize, if your DS Lite has the hinge crack that we’ve all seen, then Nintendo will likely repair it free of charge. It also sounds like Nintendo may have figured out that the crack was caused by overtightening.” Woot!
