Today in Barcelona, at its X06 media briefing, Microsoft announced that Rare, Nintendo’s ex-lover, is making a new Banjo-Kazooie game for the Xbox 360. The bird and bear platforming duo will set out on their first non-Nintendo adventure, with “new next-gen visuals and presentation as well as their sharp wit and hilarious sense of humor.” I dunno if I consider burping, fart jokes, and nonsensical jabber from cartoony animals as “sharp wit” or “hilarious,” but that’s cool.
Are you sad that you won’t be able to play Banjo-Threeie/Banjo-Threeie-Sixty (or whatever it’s going to be called) on Wii?
