I don’t know if you guys caught onto this one today, but I thought it was really clever how Nintendo marketed to the software publishers by saying that Revolution will be the cheapest and easiest platform to develop for. Game publishers are getting to be very big business (think EA). Even baby-boomer investors know who big game companies are. Cheaper development means bigger profits. Bigger profits means more publishers will sign on with a system. The more publisher sign-ons a system has, the better they can compete against their competitors.
I hate to keep going “business” on y’all, but I really think Nintendo outperformed it’s competitors today more on the business side of things than on gaming (with exception to Zelda of course). Let me know what you think.
(I have no idea who this guy is, I just thought he looks business-ey)
