Hey, y’all! It’s your boy, Colt, coming at ya with another pick for the week! We took last week off to enjoy the holiday weekend and to get refreshed, and I’m ready to rock and roll again. So without further ado, let’s go!
My choice for this week is Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. I started out with Spyro on my GameCube and I loved the game. This little purple dragon became my idol and I sunk the majority of my childhood into killing sheep for butterflies, ramming into enemies, breathing fire on plants, and even just gliding around from platform to platform. While the GameCube game is not part of the trilogy, I was still excited to hit that 3D open world play area as a little dragon, trying to save the world.
Upon booting this up on my Switch, I was instantly brought back to nostalgia, and I completed the first world of the first game right away! I’m, so addicted, it’s impossible to pick up my Switch and play anything else. You are getting three games for $40. The graphics, art, and music is absolutely beautiful and even if you get hooked and come completely addicted, you will still get an ample amount of time out of this game for the price you paid. If you were ever a fan of Spyro, this really is a no brainer.
