The above video comes from the 2005 GCD conference. Word on the street is that Nintendo may have been using the term “We” as a precursor to “Wii” in this clip. They use the term we/Wii like 20 times. I think that’s a stretch and doubt Nintendo’s branding had the name that far in advance, but who knows.
Also pay close attention to the end when a Wii (then called Revolution) silhouette flashes on the screen. Keep in mind Nintendo didn’t unveil the look until E3 2005 a few months later.
