Ok, picture my man Rafa’s character model here, but about a third as detailed. That’s what you’ll get in my new new favorite upcoming game. Madrid-based development studio Virtual Toys will be the first to make a real Wii tennis game with the big boy version of Rafa Nadal Tennis. WiiSports Tennis can now officially shove it.
The horrible translation from the developer’s page reads: “We are beginning the development of Rafael Nadal Tennis for the Nintendo’s Wii console. In this game you will be able to have a really spectacular control thanks to the novel system of game that provides the new Wii control system.”
Fingers crossed for wifi support. I’ll be faking medical timeouts and making Blake chase my drop shots, Nintendo willing.
