Tomodachi Life stage in Smash Bros. 3DS reminiscent of Brawl’s Luigi’s Mansion

Masahiro Sakurai’s Super Smash Bros. pic of the day reveals a new stage for the Nintendo 3DS version of the game inspired by Tomodachi Life. As you can see in the screen above, it’s the apartment building from the quirky life sim game, with four rooms uncovered and two which remain a mystery. Just as there are many options to change the appearance of your room in Tomodachi Life, this stage will feature a different combination of six rooms every time player chooses it. Interiors are only shown when fighters “overlap” with them, and Mii characters will be brought in from the data on the 3DS, so you may see some familiar faces on this stage.

Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS is shaping up pretty well, it would seem. I’m wondering when we’ll finally get an official name for it and the Wii U version…what are your thoughts?

In addition to being a girl gamer, Holly prides herself on being a red-head. Consequently, the blue shell in the Mario Kart series is her natural enemy. Don't worry, though: she still loves Mario Kart and is very good, despite the occasional blue shell-sabotaged race. Like any Nintendo fan, Holly also loves Zelda, Pokemon, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Kirby...you name it. But she'll try just about anything (besides horror games) and has a soft spot for unique, little-known rhythm games like Rhythm Heaven and Samba de Amigo. NNID: Aeroweth
