Single-Player Only Batman Arkham Origins on Wii U Discounted $10

When Batman Arkham Origins releases on Wii U on October 25, it will cost $50. The $10 discount, however, comes at a cost: this tablet-enhanced version of Origins will not feature multiplayer. It’s a weird call. A decision made more bizarre when you hear the logic from publisher Warner Bros. in summer: “The team is focusing development efforts on platforms with the largest MP audience.” Fans might like the $10 price cut, but Warner Bros. decision to forgo multiplayer creates a Catch-22. The publisher doesn’t want to include multiplayer on Wii U due to the relatively small community, yet the community won’t flourish without multiplayer support. How do you feel about this dilemma? What resolution do you propose?
