Disappointing news to report, but the wait for Rayman Legends just got a bit longer, as the title has been delayed into the Q1 of 2013. The game was originally slated to release shortly after the Wii U launch in late November/early December, whereas in the UK it was a launch title. But, the development team at Ubisoft Montpellier felt the need to polish the game to ensure it surpassed its predecessor.

In a statement from Ubisoft: “We’re happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We’ll have more details to share soon.”

This delay, however, does not change the amount of Wii U North American launch titles, which still remain at 23. Only 12 titles will now be available when the console launches in the UK.
