Masahiro Sakurai just loves to tease Smash Bros. fans

Sakurai whiteboard Smash Bros. drawing

Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai has decided to tease Smash Bros. fans with some whiteboard art that’s sure to be dissected meticulously. Sakurai-san Tweeted the above photo (which, surprisingly, has Kirby taking up 1/4 of the scene) with the following words, “This is what our staff drew on the white board. It’s good!”

As mentioned, the whiteboard drawing is bound to be studied extensively. So, don’t hurt your brain examining for new characters in the image as there aren’t any to be found. At face value, the image provided by Sakurai-san is just something to wet our appetite in anticipation of the new iteration of the Smash Bros. franchise for the Wii U and 3DS.

When he's not gaming, Harrison is looking to break into the magazine journalism industry and realize his dream of becoming a features reporter.
