Fire Emblem’s Ike returns to Smash Bros.

screen-1

Ike from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn will be making a return to the Super Smash Bros. roster. Nintendo confirmed this news with today’s Smash Bros. posting on the game’s website. This will be Ike’s second foray into the Smash Bros. universe, with his first outing coming in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii. He will also join fellow Fire Emblem returnee, Marth.

Super Smash Bros. is due for the Nintendo 3DS at the end of this summer, while the Wii U version is slated for release sometime in the fall. In addition to another character reveal, Nintendo also confirmed that NFC functionality will be implemented into the Wii U version of Smash Bros. As of now, details on the NFC usability are unknown.

As the Smash Bros. roster continues to grow, what other characters (not new) would you like to see return? Also, how would you like to see NFC used in the Wii U version? Tell us in the comments below.
